Hello! I'm Janelle Marquez, a proud mom of two and a current student at a university on the east coast, where I'm pursuing my passion for interior design. From a young age, I've always had an eye for aesthetics or curating spaces that felt warm and inviting. After years in my previous career, I realized just how unfulfilled I was and knew I needed to make a change.
Taking a leap of faith, I returned to school to pursue my love for interior design, embarking on a journey that would allow me to turn my passion into a career. Life, of course, had its own plans—just two years into my studies, I welcomed a new addition to the family and moved to a new place. While balancing these life changes with my education, I've continued to grow my knowledge and refine my skills in interior design, always driven by the desire to create spaces that inspire and resonate with those who inhabit them.
I bring a fresh perspective to each project, combining contemporary design principles with timeless elements that ensure longevity in both style and function. For me, interior design is about more than just making a space beautiful—it's about how a space makes you feel. I am currently seeking clients for non-structural design projects. I offer SketchUp plans for space planning that does not include load-bearing or plumbing changes. My concept digital plans come with detailed item lists to help clients visualize their space and provide access to product sourcing information.
